yup! my day trips get farther and farther... this time, me and my bst mates decided to go to miri! the whole thing was very spontaneous. a few days before the miri trip, we were joking around in naqib's new huge car, "ke miri siuk ni pakai kereta ani!" then, the next day, memie texted me asking if i wanted to join them to go to miri! i was very excited because i wanted to do some serious shopping and where else would it be better to shop at than miri?! very oddly enough, i was the only one who was intended to go on a shopping spree... the others just wanted to hang out. ':s
after having breakfast, we finally went off around 9.30am. so with just us young people in the car, who knew the way? no one.. yup, that's right! everyone had never gone to miri by themselves or without the rents. there was nothing to worry about really.. we had a plan. the plan was to head to belait, pass it and go right to the very end of brunei... after that, we depended solely on memory. hey, i didn't say it was a good plan...
after a few wrong turns, we eventually got to the shops we wanted to go to. i must say, i was rather dissapointed.. i was hoping to go wild and shop till i dropped but in the end, i ended buying only 2 things. a fossil watch (wohoo! can't wait to see that on my creditcard bill! ':s) and a converse bag (which btw i was really hesitant cause i wanted it red but they only had brown.. but to hell with it.. i wanted to spend the money)
all in all, it was still a fun day.
