thunders, stolen & lips of an angel

after only 3 days of being here, i have already adjusted to the time! i guess sleeping at 5am and waking up in the afternoon back in brunei did me good. so far, things are good. catching up with the boys are great. classes are still a bore and internet is really fast! ':) not much to add really. i have plans this bank holiday weekend to go to london and see my london friends for the first and last time before they're off for home for the summer break. it sucks for me though cause after they're gone, i don't have a reason to go there anymore and thus leaving my weekends bare. although, that will help my finance.

anyway, a completely different topic all together.. some people know how annoyed i am by all these internet communities(friendster and myspace). i keep getting invitations to join new ones! i'm sorry but i don't have the time or energy to keep updating my profile and pictures on each and every one of those accounts. i use friendster to keep in touch with my friends and myspace to look for good music. BUT after saying that, i am starting to warm up to multiply.

on it, you get to upload/download music and watch videos. so tonight, i'll be busy updating my multiply. ':)

another thing i'm warming up to is the word 'emo' in music. whenever i hear that word i immediately think 'emo punk'. and lord knows how much i hate punk.. i don't like punk music but i hate the 'look' more! all black with hints of colours and messy hair swept to one side, sneakers with skulls on 'em.. uggghhh..

but all that changed (and i am talking about the word, not the fashion sense) after i found out there's another music genre associated with 'emo'. emo-rock. ofcourse, i've heard the songs before but i've always thought they were ballad/alternative. but emo-rock is the perfect way of calling the songs i really love at the moment.

currently i'm loving: dashboard confessionals, boys like girls and hinder.
long live emo-rock!

i'm out.
