can't wait for friday

howdie everyone.. again, many apologies for the lack of updates.. same reason as always.. nothing to update really.. plus, i've been really busy with exams. just got the result on last week's one.. really don't want to talk about that.. and in 2 hours, i have another exam to deal with.. and on friday too. man.. so can't wait for the weekend.. and what better way to let loose than a concert! ':) definitely looking forward to that.

anyway, on my last post, i forgot to wish everyone a happy fasting month. selamat berpuasa everyone. the month for patience and hunger! hehe. also, this is usually the second most depressing time of the year for me.. ':( hungry and without my family to break fast with.. i miss going to pasar malam and buy every food they had. i miss being woken up by my mom to eat sahur. i miss buying things for raya at the very last minute.. new shoes, new samping, new perfume, new everything just for the special event that follows fasting. so, mash, consider yourself very lucky. ':) and when's the most depressing time of year for me? ofcourse, it's hari raya.. i miss goin' to my extended families' houses.. i miss going on convoy with my friends and just visit everyone.. i miss raya A LOT.. but thankfully, this year, i have my sister on the same hemisphere with me. that'll save me a tear or two..

to mash: sigh.. wish i could spend raya with you.. do you realise we never even seen eachother at raya much less spent it together? sigh.. anyway, happy puasa to you. i'll email you real soon yeah? miss you loads!

sorry for the lack of updates guys.. been one heck of a week. fortunately, in turn, it means there's a lot to post today. so enjoy..

went to london last weekend. a lot of people i wanted to see. but an important reason to go was get lisa back from ali's grubby hands.. hehe. it was cool seein' him again. especially so seeing him all good and walking again. again, sorry to hear about your misfortune man.. but i'm sure things'll be fine.. more than fine.. infact, it'll be perfect. look at it this way.. think of it as a long vacation before you start work. by now, you should be back in brunei already. have a great time over there. thanks for taking care of my drums.. boy.. when you said you took her apart, you really did take her apart! damn.. took me a while to put her back together again.. haha!

another person i wanted badly to meet up didn't show.. ':( you owe me big time! you know who you are.. hehe

and finally, the most important person whom i wanted to see was none other than my dear sister, faye!! ':) i'm still tryin to get over it! seeing her, HERE! there i was, in brunei hall's lobby, waiting for hours for her to come.. and suddenly, a familiar figure walked in.. dazed and curious about the new environment.. haha!

after gathering all the newbies' luggage and having their introductary talk, she ran up to me excited and pleading me to take her around london. haha! she was so 'sakai'! she kept saying how cool england is and how cold it is here. we went around oxford street and looked at a few shops. she was there for not more than a few hours and she already wanted to go shopping! she noticed all the prices seemed very cheap! haha! and i kept reminding her to multiply everything by 3. haha! man.. i still can't believe it.. there i was.. taking the bus with my sis! it's so awesome..

anyway, other than that, things are so-so.. i was sick for a few days.. everyone's sick nowadays.. but i'm feeling better now. except for the coughing fits i usually get after being sick. it's exam time now. yup.. i haven't been studying though.. always at the very last minute.. hehe. i've been watching alot of tv lately. downloaded lost cause my sister kept insisting it's a great series. so, i decided to see what the fuss is all about for myself. i downloaded a lot of movies aswell. i just finished watching the lake house. you probably remember from a few posts ago, i mentioned about it. it's a nice mushy movie for the girls. while we're on the subject of movies, you guys should really get your hands on hard candy! it's so cool! here's the trailer..

lonely no more

hey people.. haven't updated in a while cause i didn't want you, my fans, to doze off reading my blog. but here i am now with plenty to tell.. my day has been relatively good. oh, except for when i almost got ran over by a van. don't worry people, i'm fine. here's the whole story.. it was a nice afternoon. so, i thought i'd go for a nice walk at the beach. i've never gone for a walk before cause i'm not a big fun of the bright hot sphere up in the sky. so there i was about to cross the street while listening to THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS (i will explain the enthusiasm later).. there was this huge bush blocking my vision, right next to me.. i was stepping on the tarmac when suddenly, this van cross just inches from my nose! n it wasn't moving slow either.. i just stood there shocked.. i checked for injuries.. all good.. turned down the volume of the ipod and went my merry way.. and people say i don't live a dangerous life.. ':)

the newbies just came today.. talked to them. they seem cool. now, i'm not all alone anymore. anyway, on to the main topic of my post this time!

ALL AMERICAN REJECTS!

i'm going to their concert at the end of the month! wohhooooo!!! i was looking for worthy gigs to go to online and i found out that they are going to be in london! i bought the tickets instantly! it is gonna be so awesome! not goin' with anyone in particular.. yet. ':)

to someone specific out there: so come! let's go!

i sooo can't wait!
